About the Project

Student Engagement Practice & Planning the COVID-19 Environment collates institutional practices from nine critical areas in Student Affairs to identify prominent trends and practices in higher ed student engagement. Each brief examines one of nine Student Affairs areas through a tripartite lens centering around student engagement models:

  • Traditional. Employing strategies for on-campus, face-to-face student affairs practices
  • Hybrid. Planned practices to engage students in a combination of face-to-face and online modes
  • Online. Implementing strategies for fully online and digital engagement
