TN Reconnect Research receives Viewers Choice Award

TN Reconnect research, conducted by PERC Graduate Research Assistant Gresham Collom, received the Viewer’s Choice Poster award at the 2019 Graduate Student Research Colloquium hosted by the University of Tennessee College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences. The colloquium, hosted annually by the Dean’s Graduate Student Advisory Board, provides graduate students with an opportunity to present their research in a conference setting.

Collom presented a research poster focusing on Student Experiences Utilizing the Tennessee Reconnect Scholarship: A Narrative Analysis. He discussed findings from the first phase of PERC’s longitudinal qualitative study examining the Tennessee Reconnect Scholarship, a last-dollar scholarship for adult students in Tennessee returning to get a two-year degree.
