Gresham Collom has been invited to present his work with the Tennessee Reconnect initiative at the 2019 Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE) Conference occurring on November 14-16, 2019.

Tennessee Reconnect is an initiative to help more adults return to higher education to gain new skills, advance in the workplace, and fulfill lifelong dreams of completing a degree or credential. Collom’s longitudinal qualitative study captures the experiences of TN Reconnect participants to enable more direct practice and policy-based interventions to support recruitment, retention, and degree attainment.

ASHE is a scholarly society dedicated to higher education as a field of study. It is committed to diversity in its programs and membership, and has enjoyed extraordinary success in involving graduate students in Association activities. The 2019 conference will be held in Portland, Oregon.
